Anti Social Behaviour!

For the information of all Tain residents and members of the Community. 

It is unfortunate that the incidences of anti social behaviour, particularly involving loud and disruptive vehicles has seen an alarming increase over recent months. 

You may have noticed a more prolific police presence in the Town over this past weekend whilst Community Councilors were out and about assisting in a proactive role. 

The Tain Community Council would like to reassure you that we are working in close unison with Police Scotland and other agencies to bring this to a decisive end. 

Police have now dealt with a number of individuals as a result of this and we understand further investigations are ongoing. 

This Anti Social Behaviour is exceedingly inconsiderate, disruptive and alarming for the many thousands of residents of our community not to mention of the danger offered by the recklessness of the offenders. Those involved are a minute section of our populous. 

The Police request that any information, dashcam footage or further acts of this nature are reported directly via the 101 number, (please be patient they are extremely stretched) or you can email the Tain Community Council where we will endeavour to redirect your information to the appropriate team.
